Designed to keep applications in mind, SOCKET empowers developers to build chain-abstraction protocols and applications. SOCKET Protocol is the first chain-abstraction protocol, enabling developers to build chain-abstracted applications to compose users, accounts and applications across 300+ rollups and chains. Chain-Abstraction is a new computing paradigm, enabling developers to build internet scale scalable and composable applications while providing best in class UX to end users.
For this hackathon, we’re excited to bring you to SOCKET Protocol - First Devnet enabling you to compose smart contracts across networks directly and enable pre-execution for your onchain contracts.

Polkadot is a layer-0 blockchain that provides shared security to multiple blockchains, enabling them to communicate/share data through its core relaychain. Polkadot is the biggest DAO with the largest on-chain treasury entirely governed by the community through end-to-end algorithmic on-chain governance.
The Polkadot ecosystem consists of Polkadot & Kusama relaychains, corresponding parachains and solochains, all 100+ chains powered by Substrate.
During the hackathon, hackers are advised to use the Polkadot hackathon bible to accelerate their learning & development across different ways of protocol deployments in the Polkadot ecosystem. Optionally projects can also utilise XCM and offerings of common good chains to create robust utility.

Citrea is the first rollup that enhances the capabilities of Bitcoin blockspace with zero knowledge technology. Citrea is the only scalability solution that uses Bitcoin both as a data availability and a settlement layer, via its BitVM-based trust-minimized two-way peg program - Clementine. Citrea is fully EVM compatible, enabling all EVM developers to easily build on Bitcoin.
As a result of EVM-compatibility, existing EVM development tools (such as Remix, Hardhat, Ethers, Foundry, and many more) are also sufficient to develop applications on Citrea.

Walrus is a next-generation decentralized storage network for unstructured data and rich media content such as large text files, videos, images, and audio. Leveraging innovations in erasure coding, Walrus offers exceptional data availability and robustness with minimal replication overhead for cost efficiency. Powered by Sui as the coordination layer, Walrus scales to hundreds or thousands of networked decentralized storage nodes without compromising performance.
For our hackathon bounty, participants should focus on leveraging Walrus, our decentralized storage platform. Hackers should familiarize themselves with the Walrus CLI and HTTP APIs, which provide powerful tools for managing decentralized data storage securely and efficiently. These will be essential for building innovative submissions that showcase the capabilities of decentralized storage in Web3 applications.

What is EigenLayer?
EigenLayer is a protocol built on Ethereum that introduces restaking, a new primitive in cryptoeconomic security. It allows users to stake assets such as Native ETH, Liquid Staking Tokens (LSTs), EIGEN token or any ERC20 token into EigenLayer smart contracts, thereby extending Ethereum's cryptoeconomic security to additional applications on the network.
Why Build with EigenLayer?
Anyone building a new decentralized service for Ethereum must bootstrap a new trust network to secure their system, fragmenting security. EigenLayer solves this problem by enabling any service, regardless of its composition (e.g. EVM-compatibility), to tap into the pooled security of Ethereum's stakers, creating an environment for permissionless innovation and free-market governance.

EAS is an open-source, infrastructure public good for creating onchain and offchain attestations about anything. With over 7 million attestations by teams like Coinbase, Base, Optimism, Scroll, Arbitrum, and Gitcoin, EAS enables entities—agents, humans, organizations, or contracts—to make digital signatures on structured data. These attestations allow others to make informed, programmatic, and trustworthy decisions.

Attest, score, and reward—build reputation models into your Web3 dapps.
True Network enables apps to give on-chain attestations to their users using our simple JS SDK. Users can also write reputation algorithm on top of the attestations to further boost utility of it, and use this score to enhance the user experience & designing retention mechanisms.
